We all have moments of self-doubt when we feel like we’re not good enough or qualified to do something. This is called impostor syndrome, and it’s incredibly common. The good news is that there are things you can do to overcome it. First, it’s important to understand that everyone feels this way at times. Second, instead of waiting to be perfect, be curious. Ask questions, seek out feedback, and learn as much as you can. Finally, remember that there is always someone out there who is willing to help you. If you feel like you’re struggling, reach out to a friend or mentor for support. By taking these steps, you can start to overcome impostor syndrome and build your confidence.
Meet Hasan Rahman, a Principal Customer Engineer at Microsoft Denmark, a teacher at heart, with over 2 decades of security experience tells us about his journey, growth mindset, imposter syndrome, and some advice to the young aspirants.
